Their tea selection is of the excellent loose leaf variety and locally baked produce is available at the counter. There's a light lunch menu that includes some great healthy choices. Situated on the ground floor of the McSweeney Company Heritage Building the cafe's urban atmosphere also provides outdoor seating to enjoy the busy downtown.

Ten years ago, Cafe Calactus began on Mountain Road with their vegetarian menu, and it was their attention to healthy options and getting it right that helped them to grow and move to their new home on the corner of Church and St. George.
With a larger and eclectic menu the food still caters to vegetarians and now, there are many options for those who don't eat dairy food and those who avoid wheat foods. From spicy and hot to simple but not plain - the food is delicious. Lots of healthy choices on the drinks menu too. The decor has been developed with love and attention and the atmosphere is uniquely inspired to give a very enjoyable evening out, as well as provide a short-stop to revive. For at least ten years, the people at Cafe Archibald have been serving the best crepes in town! The menu has an apparently endless combination of savory crepes and - if you have enough space - some delicious choices in sweet crepes.
